Donald E. Stratton, 64, passed away March 17, 2013. He was born January 19, 1949 to Charles and Emmabele Stratton. Donald fought in Viet Nam as a Marine.
He is survived by a son, Sean Stratton; step-daughter, Lisa Smith-Rogers; brothers, Kenny Stratton, Dennis Stratton, Dave Powers, Donny Powers; sister, Gloria Collins; two granddaughters, Makaila Stratton and Caitlin Hicks; and 9 nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4-8 Thursday, March 21 at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis. A funeral service will be held at noon Friday, March 22 at the funeral home, with a burial to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.

I am one of the granddaughters (Makaila) I remember him giving me a peppermint patty every time I went to his house and when I was little I spent the night on Christmas eve and I had a bad dream he sat at the foot of my bed and stayed there till I was better and every night when I have bad dreams I see him at the foot of my bed. I miss him so much its un real.
